A recent visitor to our rehearsal John Davie. John joined Herrington Colliery Band aged 13. He moved away when doing his National Service and became an army bandsman for over twenty years. Now living in Buckinghamshire. We were delighted his family contacted us and were able to invite him along for the evening.
